When we say this shul is a family, we mean it. Right now I’m working on the Simchat Torah flags, my mum is making goodie bags for the kids over Chag and my dad is creating the labels. This morning is the other time lapse you see (➡️swipe!) when the boys were prepping the aravot for tomorrow. The last few weeks have been so busy, but every second is worth it💕

*Swoosh* and just like that, the year comes to a close.
Isn’t it weird how I, of all people, am speechless?
Not just because of the terrible tragedies and pain we’ve witnessed and suffered, but because of the way we stood through it, together. The way we took a deep breath and managed to say Thank You Hashem. The way we understood that we can’t understand His ways.
I pray that this year we feel G-d’s love even more. That this is the last year we have to cry.
I’m a big believer of looking at the positive side of life, so let’s remember all the happy things that happened too. Do you remember the Purim zoom with close to 200 people, all dressed up and celebrating, on? Do you remember the packages we packed and delivered to all our members? Do you remember how our Shuls merged into one? Do you remember the first in person children’s event?
When we daven in Shul over the next two days for a better year, let’s say thank You as well. Because everything, the good, the bad and the beautiful came from Him.
From my family to yours, I’m wishing you a year filled with ONLY good things. With laughter and Simchot and Nachas and health.
