Pre-Holiday Wednesday 9th December
- 7:00pm - Latke and Sufganiyot Baking with Barb Taub. Hosted by SCOJEC. Registration required here.
1st Candle Thursday 10th December
- 6:15pm - Candle Lighting Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 7:30pm - Cross Scotland Chanukah Candle Lighting, in partnership with SCoJeC, GJRC, UJIA and all Shuls in Scotland. Registration required here.
2nd Candle Friday 11th December
- Light Candles in the comfort of your own home! Chanukah Sameach & Shabbat Shalom. (Candles should be lit before 3:33 pm and should burn for at least 1.5 hours).
3rd Candle Saturday 12th December
- 6:00pm - Motzei Shabbat Havdalah and Chanukah Candle Lighting. A joyful evening of Music and Song. Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
4th Candle Sunday 13th December
- 4:00pm - The Matana Club Chanukah Celebration for children and families, run by the Matana Club. Registration required here.
- 3:40pm - Candle Lighting Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 8:00pm - Kahoot Quiz with Rabbi and Rebbetzin Lemberger on Giffnock Shul Zoom. PRIZE for winner: £20 voucher to Mark's Deli, thanks to the sponsorship of the World Zionist Organization.
5th Candle Monday 14th December
- 4:30 pm - Teen Chanukah Party with UJIA - registration required here.
- 6:15pm - Candle Lighting Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 7.30pm - Glasgow’s favourite Wednesday Morning Music Man, Clive Aronson, with a very special show for Chanukah. Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
6th Candle Tuesday 15th December
- 11:30am - Tea & Torah with Rabbi (and virtual latkes!). Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 6:15pm - Candle Lighting Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 8:00pm - Chanukah Bingo! A chance to play that old favourite game in a special fun time Chanukah edition. Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
7th Candle Wednesday 16th December
- 11:00am - Oy Va Voy Radio with Clive Aronson Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 6:15pm - Candle Lighting Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
- 7:30pm - Wednesday Night Culture Club, Conversation Club, presents Rabbi Rubin in Conversation with Ellis and Susan Simpson. Topic - Road from Glasgow to Raanana. Live on Giffnock Shul Zoom.
