Directions

The Shul can be reached by plane, train, bus or car.  Local airports are Glasgow Airport, about 20 minutes drive from the Shul and Prestwick Airport, about 30 minutes by car or taxi and just over an hour on the Number 4 bus service run by Stagecoach.  Get off the bus at Eastwood Toll and the Shul is a five minute walk along the main road.

Trains run from Glasgow Central Station to Giffnock Station on the East Kilbride line.  The journey takes about 15 minutes and the Shul is about 10 minutes walk along the main road from the local station.

You can also reach the Shul by bus from the centre of Glasgow .  Take the First Bus or City Sprinter 38 or 38a Service from Union Street (which is opposite the stair (side) exit from Central Station) or the Stagecoach number 4 service (to Ayr) from Buchanan Street Bus Station.  Please note other bus companies operate a 38 service which does not go to Giffnock, so check when you get on that the bus goes to Eastwood Toll.  The journey takes about 25 minutes and you can get off at the stop after Giffnock Railway Station (opposite the Orchard Patk Hotel) or the stop at Eastwood Toll.  The Shul is between the two stops and is about a five minute walk along the main road.

By car, the Shul can be reached from Glasgow City Centre by getting on the Kingston Bridge and turning off onto the M77.  Get off at Junction 3 which is signposted East Kilbride and turn left at the end of the slip road.  Continue along until you reach the second roundabout which is Eastwood Toll and then turn left into Giffnock.  The Shul is a 2 minute drive along the road, on the left hand side in the block after the speed camera.  If you are coming from down South, travel up the M74 to the M73 and then turn off onto the M8 which runs round the top of Glasgow and continues onto the Kingston Bridge.  Then continue as above.

If you have Satnav, the Shul car park is situated at 222 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 6UE.  It is in front of the large house called The Glen and the Shul is immediately behind it.
