Dear community,

We’re delighted to distribute the freshly compiled Giffnock Shul Community Pesach Cookbook – filled with delicious Pesach recipes submitted by members across our community. As we head into a very unique Pesach together, we hope these recipes help you feel connected to the community and inspired by our rich Jewish traditions.

At this time, it’s important to reflect on the wonderful organisations across our community who are pulling together to provide vital support. While this cookbook is distributed free of charge, we would encourage community members to contribute to our community organisations. Several organisations are welcoming volunteers to support their efforts. Jewish Care Scotland’s Food Bank also accepts donations. Information can be found online at, and monetary donations can be contributed by contacting

Wishing everyone a safe, healthy and meaningful Pesach!
